Paul Battaglia Paul Battaglia was the step son of a co-worker at Metro-North who raised him from age four. Paul worked for Marsh McLennan, along with Michael Waye, our former simulator technician. Paul's sense of humor touched all who knew him. He kept a web journal at www.Battaglia.org His father is keeping the site up. You can contribute to the Paul Battaglia Scholarship Fund at Binghamton University, PO Box 6000, Binghamton, NY 13902-6000.

NYPD Officer Stephen Driscoll
NYPD Officer Stephen
Driscoll was assigned to Emergency Services Unit 4 in the Bronx. He was a US
Navy veteran and was known as
"the mayor of emergency
services". His wife
and sister work for Metro-North. His father recently retired after many
years of service as a conductor. As you can imagine, Stephen's loss has had
a dramatic effect on employees at Metro-North. There is a collection being
taken that will go directly to Officer Driscoll's son, Barry. Please join me
in contributing to this good cause.

Timothy Aaron Haviland Tim was a distant cousin who grew up in St. Paul, MN. He met his wife, Amy, on the internet and fell in love. After moving to New York, he began working for Marsh McLennan along with Paul Battaglia and Michael Waye. Amy Haviland's brother, Robert Spear, was a fireman who also died on 9/11. Astronaut Dr. Laurel Clark, who was killed in the shuttle Columbia accident, was Tim's first cousin and also a distant relative of mine.
