The Metro-North Railroad has many tenant
carriers, including Amtrak, CP Rail, CSX, Guilford
(Springfield Terminal), P&W, and Housatonic.
Metro-North has trackage rights only on the Housatonic
between the NY/CT State Line and Danbury, CT. While this
route rarely sees any activity, it was very busy the
first week in May 2001 with excursions and training
trains. Here are some photos. |
