A Panorama Shot at Alpine Meadows on March 4th

Alpine Meadows

Next to Squaw Valley is Alpine Meadows. This has become my favorite ski area in the U.S. It has everything from open bowls to tree skiing and fantastic views of Lake Tahoe

Mount Disney

One of the oldest ski areas in the U.S. is The Sugar Bowl on top of Donner Pass. While frequently crowded on weekends, I had the area virtually to myself on March 5th.

Sugar Bowl

The views from the slopes of the Sugar Bowl were wonderful. Naming a trail "Vanderbilt" in California seemed a bit odd.
